1. Concept & Pitch

For commissioned work: I absorb your brief, your audience, and your visual language. Then I build a concept that serves the story while bringing something unexpected.

For original pitches: I develop fully-formed story proposals — concept, moodboard, casting direction, location strategy, and visual approach — ready for your editorial meeting.

2. Pre-Production

Moodboards, shot lists, casting, location scouting, permits, and scheduling. I coordinate styling, hair, and makeup teams when needed, or integrate seamlessly with your in-house crew. Every detail is locked before we shoot.

3. The Shoot

Studio or on-location across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay, and Australia-wide. I direct with clarity, adapt to the unexpected, and capture the images we need plus the ones we didn't know we were looking for.

4. Post-Production & Delivery

Tight editing, professional retouching, and colour grading. Delivered in your required formats, on deadline, with clear usage terms.

Do you pitch stories, or only take commissions? Both. I regularly develop original story concepts and pitch them to editors. I also execute commissioned briefs with full creative and technical capability.

What publications have you worked with? I've contributed to print and online publications across fashion, culture, and documentary spaces. Specific credits available upon request.

How do you price editorial work? Day rate, per-story, or usage-based — depending on the publication, story length, and rights required. I'm transparent about budget constraints and will propose a structure that works for both of us.

What's your typical turnaround? 1–3 weeks from shoot to final delivery, depending on retouching complexity and story length. Rush deadlines possible by arrangement.

Do you travel for editorial work? Yes. I'm based in Brisbane and regularly shoot across the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay, and Australia-wide. International travel is possible for the right story.

How many images do you deliver per story? 5 images per look is my standard, but this is flexible based on story length, page count, and publication requirements.

Do you handle casting and styling? I can coordinate full creative teams — casting, styling, hair, and makeup — or work seamlessly with your in-house crew. Whatever serves the story best.
